This 1920's farmhouse has some incredible existing features including an amazing fireplace, ample pantry space, and loads of natural light. The only problem was everything was grey, everything.... and drab. Not good. This room was in desperate need texture and definition.
This project is the perfect example of how color and contrast can transform a space.
We started with this amazing wood wall. This instantly gave our clients the pop they were looking for. We designed a custom island topped with a medium grey quartz countertop to add another layer of texture. Custom furnishings including a cozy sofa, cocktail table and upholstered counter stools transform this space into a cozy family spot for all to gather.
We love this kitchen so much!

Lisa is a very talented interior designer who listens to her client’s needs and works hard to incorporate their vision into reality within a specific budget. We hired Lisa to design an island & sitting nook in our kitchen. She worked very diligently with us, initially gathering ideas (we shared numerous photos of our vision) and then scheduling a follow up consultation where she shared 3-4 sketches of island designs, fabric choices, furniture options & wall décor. Lisa is easy going, punctual and direct with her consultations and follow-ups. Once we finalized our design choices, Lisa worked with our time-line (we didn’t want to have any major remodel take place during the Summer) and promptly re-scheduled the installation in the Fall. She worked within our budget constrains as we were entertaining potentially changing the floor and suggested versatile options. Lastly, Lisa always guided us into making the right decision, she advised we hold off on floor options until we saw the entire kitchen island design & nook furniture/ wall-décor come together before making the costly floor investment which would have been an additional $10,000. Long story short, we ended up loving the remodel and decided not to upgrade the floor. Lisa is not someone who pushes her clients into hasty decisions for an additional up-sell and has exceptional inner personal skills. I would highly recommend Lisa if you are looking for an honest, talented & affordable designer. I would use Lisa to re-decorate my entire house- if I had the budget to do so!
