This project was a multiroom rephresh including the living room, dining space, entryway and bedroom. The challenge here was to work with the client’s existing furniture while at the same time adding statement pieces to the spaces in order to lift them up.
In the small entry foyer, we started by adding a simple semi-flush fixture in chrome to replace the existing fixture. Then we added a modern, rustic console storage unit with steel accents. We outfitted the unit with a round, rustic black iron mirror.
In the bedroom, the client wanted to keep their existing bed. We decided to accent the wall the bed was against by adding a statement wall covering in a chic metallic vinyl. We chose two modern nightstands paired with oversized white ceramic lamps and full length mirrors on either side of the bed. The space was made complete with the client’s own artwork and our added custom pillows.
In the closet, we continued the wallpaper theme and added a muted plum and pink wall covering to the space to add a pop. We also added a cozy bench perfect for throwing on shoes.
For the living and dining space, we first replaced the existing dining fixture to a bulby, modern fixture in chrome. We then outfitted the existing glass table with thin, leather chairs in a deep blue color. For the living space, we outfitted the existing fireplace with a (add stone name here) stone. Keeping the client’s leather sectional and existing coffee table, we added a soft neutral area rug and modern console table outfitted in chrome and an ice-like top. Custom window treatments in a soft blue with dark hardware bring the room together.
